Nore Valley Park offer giant sized chess to its visitors. The chess pieces are two foot tall and are made from plastic, so the are easy to use

 

by people. This is an activity that the whole family can enjoy. There is no cost to use the chess, however, a €10 deposit is taken on

 

collection of the chess set and is returned upon the safe return of the chess pieces.
